7:00 pm – The board of directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the items that were discussed:

·         Steve was going to check into getting the fire extinguishers updated or replaced. 

·         Joe Urish is taking over as the captain of the pistol team. josephurish@zoominternet.net

7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order.

Introduction of Officers:  Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.

Treasurer’s Report: Chris read the report.

Bills and Communications:  Chris paid out $912 for the new sidewalk improvement. $510 was donated to put toward the Wreaths Across America program.

Pop: Nothing to report this week.

Rental Committee Report:  Dec. 16th hall is being donated for the Rich Hoover celebration of life, Troop 33 from the Boy Scouts of America will be using the hall on Jan 19, 20, and 21.

Pistol Team:  Took in $438, expenses $338, kept $30, turned in $70.  The pistol team is currently shooting on Thursday nights. 

Trap Team:  The winter trap league is going to have a holiday break and will continue to shoot again on January 7th.  Shoots will resume every Sunday and will conclude on February 11th.    The shooting begins around noon and continues till about 4 pm. 

Black Powder / Meat Shoots:  Took in $190, expenses $95, kept $28, turned in $67. 

Junior Rifle Team:  Mike Ripley is putting on a youth instructional shooting program starting at 6:30 pm for ages 10 years old and up. Mike said with a good turnout he will continue the program until March.

Archery: 

Fun Indoor Shoot:  Barry turned in $150.  The fun shoots happen on Mondays. Doors open at 9 am with the first shoot starting around 10 am.    

Rifle:  Al is going to do a cheap ammo challenge shoot starting in 2024.

Membership:   Brian took in $3,440, maintenance fund $470, general fund $2,970. Key cards were $220.  The total membership is 641 of which consist of 482 senior/life charter members.  There are 61 new members for the 2023 year. 

Old Business:  Nothing to report.

New Business:  Election of officers has come upon us again.  Drew Blasko is interested in doing a women’s pistol class.  Interested parties can proceed to Wolf Defense LLC. on Facebook for more information.
